Mosaic tile restoration is now also part of the services offered by Rieveley Ceramics, from small repairs of a few missing tesserae to the replacement of thousands of pieces. Using ceramic, glass or stone, whichever is appropriate to the restoration, it is important to choose the correct material to ensure a sympathetic restoration.

As well as repair work we also offer cleaning and with the use of appropriate sealers and impregnators to protect and enhance.

Much of the mosaics that are still evident on our high streets in shop doorways and pavements were the work of Italian skilled artisans during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Many of these mosaics can be considered works of art and it is our aim to revive the skills and maintain and restore.
