Our Team here at Rieveley Ceramics is here to offer a full and comprehensive service to our clients. We specialise in conserving and restoring ceramic tiling and mosaics.

We are equally happy to work on conserving large managed projects as working for individual customers in their homes , having a wealth of experience in the area of ceramic tile conservation and restoration over many years.

The Team

Michael Rieveley BA, ACR ICON

Mike is the founder of Rieveley Ceramics and our lead conservator. He has a background in ceramics and is an Accredited Member of the Institute of Conservation. Trained in Fine Art and spending a number of years manufacturing ceramics has given him a comprehensive understanding of the methods used to produce and decorate tiles, faience, and pottery. He has gained a considerable amount of hands on experience in both conserving and restoring tiles with a broad knowledge of their history and manufacture, with particular reference to the Victorian and early 20th Century periods. He is also a committee member of the Tiles and Architectural Ceramics Society.
